The record features heavyweight production and appearances from names like DJ Premier, The Alchemist, Havoc, L.E.S., Nas, Mobb Deep, Foxy Brown, and Carl Thomas, surrounding CNN with some of New York raps most recognizable voices and architects. Highlights like Bang Bang, Invincible, Queens Finest, and Phonetime keep the album rooted in hard drums, prison-call tension, borough pride, and that unmistakable CNN slang. Commercially, it made a solid showing, reaching No. 31 on the Billboard 200 and No. 8 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, with Phonetime hitting No. 22 on Hot Rap Songs.
